How DOL publishes PERM processing times

FLAG is the official source. This page explains what that publication contains. The current numbers live on the current-queue page.

What FLAG publishes

Official FLAG

The Department of Labor posts PERM processing times on FLAG. Each update lists queue months for Analyst Review, Audit Review, and Reconsideration, plus a published average in calendar days when DOL provides one.

DOL states that PERM figures update around the close of the first work week of each month, for data ending at the first of that month. A new update replaces the previous one. FLAG does not keep a public archive of earlier snapshots on that page.

The same FLAG page also publishes a separate prevailing wage table. PWD receipt months are not the PERM Analyst Review queue. See PWD processing time.

How to read the official fields

  • Queue month is the filing month DOL is publishing as in process. As of August 7, 2026, Analyst Review is September 2025, Audit Review is December 2025, and Reconsideration is March 2026.
  • Average days describes recently completed cases. In this snapshot the analyst average is 372 days; the audit average was not published.
  • Those fields are monthly markers. They are not a live list of today's decisions and not a promised date for one case.

What PERMTime does with this

PERMTime restates the latest FLAG snapshot and compares a filing month with the published Analyst Review marker. That comparison is a PERMTime month-gap calculation, not an individual-case estimate or forecast. This site is not affiliated with DOL.
